While January temperatures in Los Angeles skyrocketed, Park City remained a winter wonderland as the Sundance Film Festival kicked off on Thursday, January 16. For the past 12 years, the Utah resort, Town Lift, has been transformed into the Village at the Lift, a cozy escape for Sundance guests. And this year was no exception. At the foot of Main Street, chefs hailing from L.A.’s Animal served breakfast and lunch at a Stella Artois Café constructed for festival guests, and TAO was the scene of evening parties and performances by Rick Ross, Lil’ John, DJ Politik and others. Guests who dropped by at the Lift this year included Keira Knightley, Maggie Gyllenhaal, William H. Macy, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Aaron Paul, Chloe Moretz, Anna Kendrick, Elle Fanning, John Lithgow, Kurt Russell, Elijah Wood, and Danny Glover.
