The Nordstrom family’s fourth generation, Blake, Erik, Peter, and Jamie Nordstrom, turned up for the gala opening of their newest department store at The Americana at Brand in Glendale, on Tuesday, September 17. Honorary chair Nicole Richie presided over festivities celebrating the relocation of the department store from the Glendale Galleria to Rick Caruso’s constellation of shops across Brand Boulevard. The evening preview, with a host committee that included Anita Patrickson, Estee Stanley, Emily Henderson, and Melissa Magsaysay, gave over 750 guests a first look at the new store and benefited Ascencia and Hillsides, facilities that help the homeless in the Glendale, Pasadena and greater Los Angeles.
