Eva Chow and C Magazine‘s Jennifer Hale merged the equally charming art, fashion, and social worlds to celebrate the second Mr. Chow outpost in California, located inside the Malibu Country Mart, during the height of the beach city’s social season on Thursday, July 25. As sun-kissed guests including Angela Lindvall and Amber Valletta entered the airy coastal restaurant, they were served glasses of rose champagne that were continuously refilled throughout the evening. The models joined the gathering of beautiful people who hadn’t seen each other all summer and had assembled to christen the restaurant along with Michael Chow and his children Maximillian, China, and Asia. The loud pounding and cracking of the famed Mr. Chow noodles was the only sound that managed to silence the talkative crowd who alternated between snapping instagram shots and sneaking out to the smoking deck. The bevy of artists including Alex Israel and Retna, plus Malibu locals, jet-setters in town for the summer, and L.A. natives kept the lavish dinner going late into the evening.
