MaxMara Heritage Project
MaxMara celebrated the debut of the Heritage Project, an installation of coats from the 1950s to the present day, at the South Coast Plaza on Sunday, October 12. On hand to celebrate the exhibit—which featured notable pieces including a red geranium suit inspired by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (1963) and a grey cape designed by Karl Lagerfeld (1972)—was brand ambassador Maria Giulia Maramotti, who co-hosted the evening with Sting’s daughter, actress Fuschia Kate Sumner. Guests shared an Italian feast at Quattro Café where they sat at tables bedecked with white roses. Maramotti said the blooms reminded her of her grandfather and the brand’s founder, Achille Maramotti, who used to buy them for his wife.
