A long list of notable attendees and guests stepped out for a night at the Music Center Plaza for LA Opera’s Opera Ball on September 13. The evening included a sold-out performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata, featuring Plácido Domingo, Nino Machaidze, and Arturo Chacón-Cruz. The opening gala lured guests such as Kate Walsh, Emmy Rossum, Jill Baldauf,Selim K. Zilkha, and Catherine Marcus. This year’s event raised $1.5 million to support LA Opera’s various productions and educational and community engagement programs.
