CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Fashion Show 2016
As L.A. continues to ascend the ranks to fashion capital status, one of the city’s most anticipated sartorial events of the year, the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Fashion Show, helped make the case for such a title with a star-packed afternoon at the Chateau Marmont on Wednesday, October 26. Hosted by President and Chief Creative Officer Deborah Lloyd, Kate Spade New York’s Mark Holgate, Vogue‘s Lisa Love, and this month’s doe-eyed Vogue cover girl, Emma Stone, the presentation shined a light on the next generation of design talent and exposed them to L.A.’s top stylists, editors, and influencers. A-listers like Katy Perry, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Kristen Stewart took their seats front row to watch a group fashion show highlighting looks from each of the ten 2016 finalists, including Area, Brock Collection, Chloe Gosselin, Krewe Du Optic, Morgan Lane, Newbark, Ji Ohm Rochambeau, Adam Selman and Stampd. From baby lambs (Brock Collection) to futuristic robots (Adam Selman) and pillow fighters (Morgan Lane), the runway was alive with excitement, living up to this year’s theme of “Performance.”
