Toasting Italian fine jewelry brand Vhernier Milano, Beverly Hills social empress (and wife of Hollywood’s go-to cosmetic surgeon Dr. Gabriel Chiu) Christine Chiu joined C magazine in hosting an elegant afternoon at The Peninsula Beverly Hills hotel on Monday, November 14. Amid an airy setting replete with coral-hued blooms and blue-tinged tableware—reflective of the house’s vivid baubles—guests like Alexandra Dwek, Sally Perrin, Christine Weller and Kimberly Bini got a close-hand look at the latest collection, which stays true to the brand’s over-arching inspirations of contemporary art and architecture. In addition to toasting the label’s covetable line, the soiree benefitted The Art of Elysium, an L.A.-based organization devoted to using art as a catalyst for social change. With striking pieces like mother-of-pearl rock crystal earrings and luminous turquoise rings on display, the range is a work of art in itself—unveiling just in time for the holidays.
