C Home and Related hosted an evening of wine tasting, penthouse and residence tours and more at The Penthouse at The Waverly at Ocean Avenue South on Wednesday, June 4. After small bites by Patina Catering including mini grilled cheeses stuffed with fig jam, brie and arugula and wonton topped Hamachi tuna tartare were passed, C’s Home and Menu Editor Alison Clare Steingold joined architects Leo Marmol and Ron Radziner (the designers behind the venue’s newest interiors) for a discussion of the future of architecture in California as guests including Kimberly Bini and Robert Evanko sipped on varietals by Blackbird Vineyards. After the trio finished commenting on the unique design aesthetic and structures of the Golden State, DJ Dinari returned to the turntables and guests were left to discuss their own observations over Meyer lemon tarts, vanilla bombolinis with coffee and fresh berry skewers.
