The fashion industry’s leading illustrator David Downton celebrated the launch of his new book, Portraits of the World’s Most Stylish Women, at designer Ken Fulk’s San Francisco loft on Thursday, October 8. Cover girl Dita Von Teese, who flew in from Los Angeles for the signing, is one of 150 celebrity drawings gracing the pages of the coveted tome, including portraits of Joan Collins, Stella Tennant, Denise Hale, Sofia Coppola, Daphne Guinness and Carolina Herrera. Downton signed over 80 books throughout the evening, greeting guests like Joy Bianchi, Vanessa Getty, Jessica Moment, Olya Dzilikhova and Tatiana Sorokko.
