Drawing over 400 designers, tastemakers, and philanthropists from across the Bay Area, Children of Shelters‘ highly anticipated, annual Jingle & Mingle fundraiser kicked off at the Golden Gate Club on Thursday, December 1. A staple in the San Francisco event calendar, the star-studded charity event raised more than $300,000 towards providing educational and cultural experiences for the city’s homeless children, an effort to break the cycle of poverty. Guests including artists Suzy Kellems Domink, Caoline Lizarraga, and Jen Kelly, along with interior designers David Kensington, Will Wick and stylist Lora du Bain, enjoyed a live band performing holiday classics and the festive auction featuring decorative wreaths by Bay Area designers and florists. Among the participating creatives were Will Wick in collaboration with Caroline Lizarraga who scored the top wreath sale at $1,350, followed by Jen Kelly of RH Modern and Tish Key Interior Design. From Mongolian silk and denim to live foliage and mistletoe, the show-stopping wreaths were rich with holiday spirit in support of a great cause.
