Close to 30 influential Californian women in business arrived at a private residence in Bel-Air on Thursday, January 11 for a backyard-luncheon to celebrate Net-A-Porter and its inaugural partnership with L.A.-based Learning Lab Ventures, an organization aiming to end generational poverty within L.A.’s most underserved communities. Hosted by Mary Alice Haney Davidov, Rochelle Gores Fredston and Shannon Rotenberg, the event, which also honored Net-A-Porter and Mr Porter president, Alison Loehnis, drew a guest list including Candace Nelson, Garance Doré, Laura Vassar Brock, and Mandana Dayani. To contribute to the cause, the luxury e-tailer vowed to donate 20 percent of full-price net sales to its newest partner until the end of January.
