HEAD OVER HEELS, Menlo Park

"Laurie Farros heads to Paris to find shoes for this Menlo Park shop and even incorporated a high-end consignment shop in the back where I have snagged a great bag or Gucci belt on occasion."

HEIDI SAYS, San Francisco

"I can never get enough and please don't make me decide between Heidi Says Casual and Heidi Says, they're located close together on Fillmore, and both are fantastic. I love Heidi Says Casual for silk tops and great scarves, and one of my favorite pink Halo dresses is from Heidi Says."

GARDEN COURT HOTEL, Palo Alto

"This Palo Alto hotel is by far my favorite in the area. The staff is wonderful and I've actually shared a great conversation with author Michael Lewis about how much we both love this homey boutique spot."

"I am a choc-a-holic and this place confused my chocolate loving taste buds with the Vanilla Celebration Cake, I have such a sweet tooth and I always stop by the Menlo Park shop for a slice. I love it so much that I'm getting it as my wedding cake this summer!"

DRESS, San Francisco

"For a black Diane von Furstenberg work dress or a casual grey leather jacket for running around town, this stylish little place always piques my interest and I often leave having spent more than I should. Its a must stop shop on Chestnut Street."

JANE ON FILLMORE This is the best place to meet my girlfriends early on a Saturday or Sunday morning on Fillmore. We always stop for a delicious green kale juice drink.

HEAD OVER HEELS Laurie Farros heads to Paris to find shoes for this Menlo Park shop and even incorporated a high-end consignment shop in the back where I have snagged a great bag or Gucci belt on occasion.

HEIDI SAYS I can never get enough and please don’t make me decide between Heidi Says Casual and Heidi Says, they’re located close together on Fillmore, and both are fantastic. I love Heidi Says Casual for silk tops and great scarves, and one of my favorite pink Halo dresses is from Heidi Says.

DRESS For a black Diane von Furstenberg work dress or a casual grey leather jacket for running around town, this stylish little place always piques my interest and I often leave having spent more than I should. It’s a must stop shop on Chestnut Street.

BRICK MONKEY This Redwood City antique store is worth the drive. Need some inspiration for your home? This is your mecca! I love it and never leave empty handed. My fiancé recently asked me to curtail my weekly visits because of how much I brought home.

THE DAILEY METHOD Great classes and not too crowded. I tend to frequent the 6:00 am classes in Menlo Park with my best friend.

THE CREAMERY This is a great little lunch place during the work week, it’s close to one of the studios I shoot in and we often go here for lunch meetings or just to work between takes, they have great fresh food, hot sandwiches and fast internet which is always key in my world!
