On Saturday, May 6, 2017, UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital will host the 5th annual Kaleidoscope ball, at 3Labs in Culver City. This year’s theme, Light, aims to bask in the shining of those who practice discovery and innovation. Among Kaleidoscope 5‘s honorees are Kaiis Davis Jarrahy, who will be presented the Extraordinary Children’s Award, and Gwyneth Paltrow, who will receive the Kaleidoscope Award. The evening’s highest recognition, Philanthropic Leadership Award, will go to Alexandra and Sean Parker. All proceeds of the Harry Winston-sponsored event—which will include a live auction—will benefit the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital and the Children Discovery and Innovation Institute. The celebration will also include dinner by Wolfgang Puck catering, art installations from notable creators like James Turrell and a performance from a surprise musician.
