On Monday, November 12, fashion label Theory and dating app Bumble partnered for a Career Day in celebration of female leadership. Women business owners gathered at Theory’s Brentwood boutique as Bumble’s heads of creative, Sara Foster and Erin Foster, shared business savvy in a panel discussion about entrepreneurship moderated by Clique Media Group co-founder Hillary Kerr.

The Career Day, an extension of Be Heard, a panel series introduced by Theory last year, was designed to focus on one-on-one conversations between established businesswomen, making it a perfect collaboration with Bizz, a mode within the Bumble app that connects users for professional networking.

That evening, Theory co-founder and CEO Andrew Rosen kept the conversations going, hosting a dinner at nearby Pizzana with Women Inspiration and Enterprise co-founder and CEO Dee Poku, and Sara and Erin to honor some of the city’s most influential female founders, such as Jennifer Meyer, Clare Vivier, Jenn Streicher, Emma Grede and Candace Nelson.

In addition to being all abuzz about Career Day, guests shared excitement over Theory’s new location in Downtown L.A., set to launch the brand’s Pre-Spring 2019 fashions—the debut collection for Theory from its new women’s creative director, Francesco Fucci.
