Toasting ten years of creative collaboration with L.A.-based designer Kelly Wearstler, luxury interiors label The Rug Company threw an intimate soiree at the brand’s new West Hollywood showroom on Tuesday, May 24. And for the powerhouse design team, the celebration was twofold: The evening affair marked the debut of another landmark collection from the pair, including a Tibetan, hand-knotted wool and silk Staccato rug in subdued, tonal hues and a handmade serpentine-printed rug woven in Nepal. L.A. design heavyweights Martyn Lawrence Bullard and Kristine Kamenstein joined Wearstler and The Rug Company CEO James Seuss for cocktails and canapés, as well as an exclusive preview of the new collection.
