Ringing in the milestone 20th anniversary of The Art of Elysium and a decade of their annual black tie artistic experience “Heaven,” the non-profit organization commemorated the sold-out gala in Hollywood on Saturday, January 7, with this year’s visionary, Stevie Wonder and the recipient of the “Spirit of Elysium” award, Camilla Belle. Co-chaired by Dr. Gabriel Chiu and his wife, Christine, Sarah and Gary Magness and Kaily and Adam Westbrook, the fun-filled evening included the charity’s founder, Jennifer Howell, and over 400 guests like Amber Heard, Hailey Baldwin, Quincy Jones, Jamie King and John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. Attendees participated in a gala auction that raised over $2 million for The Art of Elysium, which encourages actors, musicians and artists to devote their time to programs for hospitalized youth, special needs education centers, homeless shelters, elder care homes and hospice care facilities. Jones presented Wonder with the prestigious award, and following his acceptance, he serenaded guests with his greatest hits before Howell took to the stage and announced John Legend as the 2018 visionary.
