At the Hollywood Hills home of Annika and Abe Somer, a crowd of fashion insiders gathered on Wednesday, April 11, for the annual Stella McCartney x H.E.A.R.T. brunch, benefiting the Violence Intervention Program (VIP).

The occasion marked the British designer’s seventh year sponsoring the Los Angeles-based foundation H.E.A.R.T. (Helping Ease Abuse Related Trauma), in their commitment to helping local victimized children get the support and resources they need.

Guests—including Isla Fisher, Rebecca Gayheart Dane, Minka Kelly, Carson Meyer and Jenni Kayne—lent their ears to longtime H.E.A.R.T. member and ambassador, actor Jessica Capshaw, and the event’s keynote speaker and VIP founder, Dr. Astrid Heger.

A gourmet brunch of savory Gjusta baked goods and salads, wines from Wally’s and Sprinkles sweets followed, and throughout the morning, attendees were able to shop the latest Stella McCartney collection, at a pop-up shop that was set up on the estate’s gardens. The proceeds from the purchases will help fund VIP and its various charitable programs.

While McCartney herself was unable to attend this year, the beloved designer left a copy of a handwritten note on each guest’s seat to express her love and support of Dr. Heger and H.E.A.R.T.
