Nothing quite attracts the who’s who of L.A. like a luxurious Roe Caviar tasting at the home of Absolut Elyx CEO Jonas Tahlin. After all, the famed Elyx House often plays host to Hollywood’s It crowd for invite-only, private affairs. On Thursday, October 6, friends and fans of the delicacy, including industry notables Sara and Erin Foster, Kate Hudson, Courteney Cox, Minka Kelly, Rachel Zoe, Whitney Port, Jennifer Meyer Maguire and her husband, Tobey Maguire, gathered at Tahlin’s Hollywood Hills residence to help Roe ring in the 2016 harvest with a mouthwatering spread of caviar-infused fare. Set amidst the candlelit, open-air patio, the dinner party commenced with cocktails at the bar and gourmet bites that showcased the star of the night, such as caviar-topped, hand-cut pasta and the “Roe Roe Roe Your Boat” martini. With cocktails flowing and fresh caviar lining the tables, guests joined Roe partners Sarah Meyer Michelson and Daniel Landver in toasting the October harvest and another season of the brand’s ongoing commitment to high-quality, farm-raised caviar.
