In Celebration of its 25^th anniversary, nonprofit P.S. Arts hosted its first “the pARTy” event on Friday, May 20, which combined the organization’s annual family-friendly “Express Yourself” fundraiser and its art enthusiast cocktail party “LA Modernism.” Held at Sunset Boulevard’s creative workspace Neuehouse, the evening attracted philanthropists, designers and actors alike including Lisa Kudrow, Joel McHale, Johnny Knoxville, Clare Vivier and Mary Elizabeth Ellis, who perused the art throughout the venue and participated in DIY craft stations before making their way to the silent auction. Proceeds from “the pARTy” benefitted burgeoning art education programs in California’s underserved public schools.
