Oscar de la Renta + William Norwich
It’s only fitting that lauded fashion writer and editor William Norwich celebrated the launch of his new tome My Mrs. Brown in a high fashion boutique like Oscar de la Renta. On Tuesday, May 10, the author (who has credits like Vogue, Town & Country and Architectural Digest to his name) joined host Crystal Lourd for an intimate soiree inside the Melrose Place outpost, which drew a bevy of tastemakers and fellow editors including Lisa Love, Elisabeth Rohm, Eric Buterbaugh, Alicia Sanz, Jacqui Getty, Jessica de Ruiter and Brooke Davenport. Guests received a special signing from Norwich and thumbed threw the pages of the baby blue novel, which chronicles a young woman’s quest to New York City and, quite fittingly, an Oscar de la Renta dress that will change her life indefinitely.
