To fete the launch of La Vie Rebecca Taylor, a secondary, more affordable line from the New York-based label, local tastemakers and fans of the brand gathered at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont for a celebratory luncheon on Thursday, October 6. Guests including Kristen Bell, Jane Levy, Marlien Rentmeester and Annabelle Wallis joined New Zealand-born designer Rebecca Taylor and Nordstrom in toasting the debut via pink Champagne and a family-style spread that culminated in fresh sorbet and berries. Majolica roses and café au lait dahlias lined the table with olive leaf garlands, creating a modern, romantic tablescape that complemented the ultrafeminine line. Taylor’s new eponymous label, inspired by her favorite wardrobe staples and featuring casual separates like floral-printed ruffled blouses and light-wash, straight-leg jeans, is available exclusively at Rebecca Taylor and Nordstrom.
