Designer Julia Leach, who recently relocated to Los Angeles from New York, launched her Chance line of t-shirts, loungewear and towels at Kendall Conrad‘s Venice boutique on Thursday, June 25. Guests were treated to refreshments including candy bars from Portland’s Oregon Bark as they got a first look at the soft cotton T-shirts and tanks created by Leach—formerly the creative director of Kate Spade—that are carried exclusively at Conrad’s Venice, Brentwood and Montecito boutiques. The preview was followed by lunch at Matthew Kenney’s newly opened vegan restaurant, Plant Food & Wine, which included a tuscan kale salad and a chlorella olive oil cake for dessert.
