Jo Malone London celebrated two English roses on Thursday, October 20: original Jo Malone London Girl, Poppy Delevingne, and the brand’s newest face, model Karen Elson. Together with friends and fans of the British fragrance purveyor, the pair gathered for a dinner party at celeb haunt Chateau Marmont. Florist-to-the-stars Eric Buterbaugh outfitted Bungalow 1 with a wild and sultry mix of dark dahlias, hydrangeas and peonies, adding to the Jo Malone scents that gently wafted through the air, including Jo Malone fragrances (Delevingne wore Orange Blossom and Elson, Wild Bluebell), as well as Red Roses and Lime Basil & Mandarin candles. Guests including Liberty Ross, Dita von Teese, Asia Chow, the Bartoli sisters and Fuscia Sumner sat down for a traditional English dinner, before musicians Rain Phoenix and Frally Hynes serenaded guests with a trio of ballads and DJ Tennessee Thomas played late into the evening. And no one was more taken with the festive affair than Elson. Says the redheaded model, “It’s surreal to be back in the city where I first discovered Jo Malone London so many years ago, now as an official Jo Malone London Girl.”
