On Saturday, December 2, up-and-coming tastemaker Elissa Mark joined forces with C to host a brunch and panel discussion at the new State of Mind, Curated by C Magazine pop-up shop at Westfield Century City. The conversation, dubbed “Generation Z and Their Platforms of Impact,” featured a young panel of creative innovators: dancer Samuel Akins, photographer and artist Harrison Glazier, artist Lilliya Scarlett, photographer Brent McKeever, and moderator Mark, who at the age of 17 is already making a name for herself in fashion through social media and her eponymous website. After engaging in thoughtful dialogue, attendees shopped the lifestyle boutique, which is open through January 2, offering curated goods from Rodarte, Jennifer Meyer, Violet Grey, Kelly Wearstler, Thomas Keller and approximately 150 other California brands and artists.
