Vintage-inspired denim brand Current/Elliott celebrated the opening of its first-ever storefront in Venice with an Americana-themed launch party on Wednesday, October 28. Cocktails flowed as guests like Langley Fox, Jennifer Meyer Maguire, Shiva Rose and Brigette Romanek browsed the ready-to-wear racks in the new 1,500 square-foot boutique on Abbot Kinney. Later in the evening, a vintage 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang and 1969 Mercury Monterey convertible whisked away attendees to the rooftop of Gjelina for an intimate dinner. Among the VIPs and friends dining al fresco were Nathan Bogle, Hilary Walsh, Jessica de Ruiter, Alison Renner, Marc Rose and professional skateboarder Dylan Rieder, who toasted to the new shop’s modern facade, handcrafted interiors and bright future.
