On the eve of its I Love Coco Backstage Beauty Lounge debut, Chanel kicked off the celebration with a star-studded cocktail party at L.A.’s Bar Marmont on Thursday, February 25. Music and beauty converged as guests entered a rock ‘n’ roll-themed setting peppered with gleaming beauty products. Co-hosts Ellie Bamber, Haya Khadra, Sama Khadra, Carson Meyer and Phoebe Tonkin joined guests in trying out the new Le Vernis Long Longwear Nail Colour and Rouge Coco Stylo Complete Care Lipshine, a range of products that will take center stage in the upcoming three-day event. Attendees including Dakota Fanning, Janelle Monáe and Gia Coppola enjoyed a mini manicure and a photobooth station, before taking selfies in a decked out music stage complete with custom made Chanel instruments. DJ Soo Joo set the tone for the evening, followed by a surprise performance from folk duo First Aid Kit. The I Love Coco Backstage Beauty Lounge officially opens to the public today.
