C magazine Editor Jenny Murray and Design + Interiors Editor Andrea Stanford gave a warm welcome to pre-owned luxury fashion site Vestiaire Collective and the consignment platform’s head of U.S. market, Samina Virk, by hosting an intimate lunch at Chateau Marmont on Thursday, September 8. Since launching in the French capital seven years ago, the company—which features a marketplace of covetable goods from in-season Chloé bags and Stella McCartney sweaters—now has its sights set on Los Angeles, throwing its first event on the West Coast this year. Familiar faces joined together for the alfresco lunch, including designers Jasmin Shokrian and Irene Roth, gift curator Simone LeBlanc and interior designer Wendy Haworth, who were each given a crash course about the site before going home with their own shop credit to experience the online wardrobe for themselves.
