On September 25th, Australian brand Bassike toasted its first stateside store opening in Venice. The event, hosted by Jayne Min and Jessica de Ruiter, celebrated with a cocktail reception in the Superba Food + Bread garden connected to the Bassike store. The evening was filled with all things Aussie, including shrimp on the barbie cooked up by chef Vicki Fan of Superba. Guests like Jenni Kayne, Alisa Ratner and Outerknown’s John Moore perused the new outpost, whose minimalistic environs reflect the cult-followed label’s casual-yet-refined pieces.
