Barneys New York + HOLA Cocktail Party
On Wednesday, October 5th, Barneys New York teamed up with youth organization Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA) to host their fifth annual cocktail party at the luxury retailer’s flagship in Beverly Hills. The evening soiree drew local tastemakers and supporters of the organization, including Nicole Musselman, Quinn Ezralow, Lulu Powers, Cio Soler, and Sharon and Mauricio Oberfeld, who joined members of Barneys and HOLA in shopping for a cause: providing underserved youth with free academic, art and athletic programs. A live band composed of young HOLA members set the musical backdrop as guests browsed the collections and joined a raffle to win designer prizes from Barneys’ luxe inventory, in which 100 percent of the proceeds went toward the organization’s efforts. To further celebrate the ongoing partnership, the department store played host to a series of designer activations throughout the evening, from one-of-a-kind pieces by jewelry designer Sharon Khazzam to custom embroidery courtesy of GRLFRND Denim (think: heart and arrow patches emblazoned on pieces from their latest collection). From a cotton candy station to fresh lemonade and a live rock concert, the collaborators toasted the cause in the best way they knew how—with childlike splendor.
