BAFTA Los Angeles TV Tea 2015
Marking it’s twelfth annual event during Emmy weekend, The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) hosted an afternoon gathering—tea and scones style—at the SLS Beverly Hills on Saturday, Sept. 19. The traditional tea honored this year’s nominees from the UK, Commonwealth, and America, toasting to astute excellence in television before The Primetime Emmy Awards. Among the leading television executives, celebrities, and BAFTA members in attendance were Adrien Brody of Houdini, writer, producer, and director of Veep Armando Iannucci, Carice van Houten of Game of Thrones as well as Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner. The Los Angeles organization works to support community outreach and educational programs, as well as develop and promote art forms of the moving image.
