On Thursday, March 22, Swedish cult fashion brand Acne Studios debuted its West Coast flagship and second Los Angeles store with a light-flooded, 2,700 square-foot brick-and-mortar on Melrose Avenue. Hosted by CEO Mattias Magnusson and executive chairman Mikael Schiller, the event drew a starry crowd including Lykke Li, Maya Rudolph, Kim Gordon, the Haim sisters and Alex Israel, who mingled around the gallery-like space anchored by a large-scale sculpture commissioned by London-based artist Daniel Silver, with custom-made seating by Max Lamb.
